Adam was born and raised in Washington, Missouri, where he graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2014. He continued his education at the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with an emphasis in Sales and Entrepreneurship in 2017.
After college, Adam spent three years in a sales role in Chicago (Go Cardinals!) before deciding to pursue a career in the insurance industry. Since 2020, he has specialized in commercial insurance, working with local business owners to protect their companies, employees, property, and livelihoods.
For Adam, insurance is about much more than selling a policy. He believes a strong insurance agent should take the time to understandeach client’s business, identify the risks they face, and be a trusted resource as that business grows. His approach to commercial insurance is built around long-term relationships, proactive risk management, and providing clients with the personal service and attention they deserve.
Having a career in insurance gave Adam the opportunity to return to his local community, bringing him close to his now wife Clare. They gotmarried in downtown Washington in December 2025. Outside of work, they enjoy fishing, spending time with their families, finding a good show to watch together, and traveling to new places any time they get the chance!
Growing up in Washington gave Adam a strong appreciation for the local businesses and people that make a community successful. The support of the community played an important role in getting him to where he is today, and he is passionate about giving back by helping local business owners protect what they’ve worked so hard to build.
Michelle Etter
Commercial Account Manager

After spending twenty-eight years in education, I made the transition to the insurance industry four years ago. What I’ve come to appreciate most about insurance is that, at its core, it’s about people. Every client has a different story, different needs, and different things that matter most to them. I enjoy taking the time to listen, explain the options, and make something that can sometimes feel overwhelming a little easier to understand.
I have experience in both personal and commercial lines, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients and situations. However, the relationships I’ve built along the way are what make this career so rewarding. I truly believe good insurance service goes beyond simply finding a policy—it’s about being someone clients can trust and rely on when they need it most.
I’m excited to join MT Insurance, where I can provide our clients with the personal, hometown service they deserve. At the end of the day, I want our clients to know they’re more than just a number. I want them to feel that they’re working with someone who genuinely knows them, understands their needs, and cares about protecting what matters most to them.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children. As a family, we enjoy fishing, attending sporting events, and spending time together playing board games.
